Plasencia Year of the Horse 2026 marks the sixth annual release in Plasencia’s highly acclaimed Lunar New Year series, celebrating the Chinese Zodiac through artistry, heritage, and exceptional cigar craftsmanship. Produced in extremely limited quantities, this release honors the Year of the Horse (February 17 – March 3, 2026) and embodies the spirit of strength, independence, momentum, and noble ambition.

Handcrafted using 100% Plasencia-grown tobaccos, the cigar features an impeccable organic wrapper from Jalapa, paired with a harmonious blend of Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers, resulting in a bold, full-bodied profile layered with depth and refinement

The Parejo Gordo 7 x 58 vitola allows the blend to unfold slowly and deliberately, delivering a complex flavor journey inspired by Asian spice traditions and natural earth elements. Each cigar is finished with Plasencia’s signature horse-braid cap, an intricate and labor-intensive detail requiring a dedicated team of three master artisans — a hallmark of craftsmanship reserved exclusively for this release
