The La Bella Otero Blonde Torpedo 6 1/4 x 54 Five Pack brings together five of the most elegant expressions of Cigar Art’s new La Bella Otero collection.
The name has genuine roots in cigar history. La Bella Otero was once a Cuban cigar marque, produced before the Revolution and eventually lost to history. And for Cigar Art, the connection is personal: when we opened in Dallas in 2012, genuine pre-Castro La Bella Otero cigars were among the rare vintage Cuban cigars offered in our humidor.
More than a decade later, we’re giving the name a new chapter.
Today’s La Bella Otero Blonde isn’t an attempt to reproduce an unknown historic Cuban recipe. Instead, we’ve reimagined its spirit as a modern Cigar Art exclusive built around elegance, pleasure, and indulgence.
The Blonde Torpedo pairs a silky Connecticut wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos in an elegant 6 1/4 x 54 Torpedo. The larger body provides plenty of room for the Nicaraguan core to develop, while the tapered head concentrates the smoke at the draw.
From the first light, the profile is unmistakably La Bella Otero: smooth, buttery, creamy, and quietly seductive.
Soft cream, buttered toast, and cedar lead into toasted almond and delicate honey-like sweetness. As the cigar develops, the Nicaraguan tobaccos introduce subtle white pepper and warm baking spice beneath notes of café con leche, warm bread, roasted nuts, and cedar.
The result is rich without being heavy and flavorful without relying on strength.

And behind the name is an equally fascinating inspiration.
Carolina Otero, known throughout Europe as La Belle Otero, became one of the great personalities of the Belle Époque. A celebrated dancer, actress, courtesan, and international beauty, her life became synonymous with glamour, romance, desire, extravagance, and scandal.
Today’s La Bella Otero captures that spirit rather than attempting to recreate the past.
